MAKEL FONTS VITA He graduated in the most famous dance school in Cuba, the Tropicana, where he studied ballet, modern and contemporary dance, afro, rumba (Guaguanco, Yambù, Columbia).
In 2000 he moved to Italy with the group Ire Batà and studied with several teachers including Virgilio Pitzalis, Marco Macchetti, Steve LaChance, Gus Bemberry, Christopher Uggins, Chacalli, Paganini and many more.
In 2005, he attended a professional course of flamenco in Jerez – Spain Practiced disciplines: ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, flamenco, latin-american dances and acrobatics.
EVENTS AND TOURS
2001 Summer tour with Milton Morales (dancer and choreographer), tour for Pupa (choreographer and dancer), tour Algida (choreographer and dancer), 2001 Tim tour (dancer), first dancer for Ray Sepulveda at the Latin American Festival in Milan, dancer for the well known group MERCADONEGRO at the Latin American Festival in Milan.
He participates in the 2006 World Salsa Congress and win the first prize both for the best choreography and best dancer; solo dancer of the show held at Smeraldo Theatre in Milan in May 2001 with the Cuban group Buena Vista Social Club – Soneros de Verdad.
